For health-related fitness, brisk walking for 2 and a half hours a week will do just fine. Or, you may also do powerful exercise routines, like running for about an hour and 1 / 4 a week as well. Start with walking and slowly progress to jogging. Or increase the length of your walking if you are not comfortable with jogging.
So what are the advantages of a high level of health and fitness? Apart from feeling great about yourself and getting an entire storehouse of energy, you also lower the risk of heart diseases, diabetes, high cholesterol and blood pressure and even a few types of cancers!
