Make sure that the new flush valve is similar to the old one in terms of the flapper style and the adjoining clips.

Rest the flapper flat on the flush valve seat and attach it’s clips to the respective setup on the overflow tube. Make sure that the flush valve rests flat on the seat and no irregularity is noticed.

Attach the valve chain to the trip chain again and finish off the installation of the new flush valve.

Turn off the water supply valve situated at the bottom of the tank. Examine the flush valve and the affiliated setup for it’s normal operation.
