<p>First off, don&#8217;t get snacks out of vending machines if you&#8217;re out and about. I would say the majority of vending machines have the relatively same foods. They are usually overly processed and full of bad fats and simply sugars. Chips and cinnamon rolls should be avoided if possible! Some vending machines will have some good options though. Some have whole grain products and there are even vending machines that are refrigerated and sell yogurt and other goodies! It may seem tempting at times because of the abundance of them at the places we work, play, or even go to shop at. Just know though that these are usually not the best option and there usually are alternative.</p>
<p>The best snacks would have to be whole delicious foods. These kind of foods include apples and other fruits as well as vegetables. A good orange is better than donuts. If you&#8217;d like you could make a sandwich with whole wheat bread and lots of vegetables and a low fat sandwich condiment. Just be creative and you will find some great ideas!</p>
<p>To know what to get as a snack my advice would be to count the calories. A good snack probably has less than 400 calories. Most fruits will definitely have less calories than that. I know for sure of vegetables in similar regard.</p>
<p>You should probably pack a snack before you go out to do something if you can. Having a healthy snack handy will allow you to pass up buying an unhealthy snack wherever you are at.</p>

This happens for a number of reasons, but the deficiency can leave you short of good vitamins, antioxidants, and other micronutrients.
