This song has become even more popular since Jackson’s death in two thousand nine. Thriller is the sixth album that was released by Michael Jackson. And it quickly became my favorite the first time I ever heard it. I also love to watch the music video because it is a very interesting dance that Jackson and his crew do in it.

Thriller made Jackson one of the most famous people in the twentieth century and this allowed him to break some barriers of racial people. Some of the reasons he was able to break the racial barrier that people held was because of his meeting with Ronald Regan at the White house. This album and song was one of the first to make famous the Use of Music videos to promote songs.

Thriller is a lot like the album off the wall because it follows genres like funk and disco. To describe thrillers lyrics I would have to say they are like experiencing paranoia and the supernatural.

Jackson soon reunited with The producer of Off the wall, Quincy Jones and they soon released his sixth album. Together, Jones and Jackson worked on three hundred songs and only nine were put on the album.

Between Jackson’s release of off the wall and Thriller he was going through many problems with his family. Jackson’s father began an affair with a woman that was twenty years his youth in nineteen seventy three, and this in turn resulted in a child. Then in nineteen eighty his father finally told his family about the child. Michael was already mad at his father over the child abuse that he had gone through. After all this Jackson still was able to produce the biggest selling album of all time, which he called “Thriller”.

HIStory – This album sometimes gets forgotten because it’s a double album and one half of it is actually a “greatest hits” album, but the other half is a proper studio album which contains many memorable songs such as “Strangers in Moscow” and “They Don’t Really Care About Us” along with the #1 hit “You Are Not Alone.”

Invincible – This album is often considered a huge failure by Jackson’s critics but that only goes to show just how the standards are for him because by many standards the album was a big hit. It went to #1 in many countries around the world including the US and the UK and it has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide. It included two top twenty US singles: “You Rock My World” (reached #10 in the US & #2 in the UK) and “Butterflies” (#14 in the US.)
