The Greatest Coffee I’ve Ever Tried

Living in a busy city like New York has its ups and downs. While the cost of living is more expensive, there are some major benefits like the fact that we’re home to so much great food. There’s some great coffee here as well.

Not too long ago, I discovered what has quickly become my favorite source for coffee in the city. While this may sound like a bit of a stretch, I mean it when I say that this could very well be the best cup of coffee in the entire city.

The original Stumptown Coffee Roasters is based in Oregon, and there aren’t many locations to date. Still, the coffee here is treasured by its patrons and the chain’s expansion to New York is a pleasant surprise.

It seems that everything on the menu may very well be great. I’ve heard others say this, and the theory has proven true thus far. The coffee is higher grade than anything you’ll find at Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts, and it’s hard for me to go back to those after trying Stumptown’s roast.

You’d be surprised to know that Stumptown coffee doesn’t really cost any more than you’d pay at a major chain, which happens to be a great thing. The atmosphere, though it lacks seating in this particular location, also seems to be one entirely based around the quality of the coffee.

I’ve never been a regular coffee drinker, but Stumptown seems to be turning me into one. I find myself craving it every day now, and I know that I’m not the only one.

Seattle residents are going as far as saying that Stumptown has the best coffee in their city. When a coffee chain is winning the praise of drinkers in a huge coffee city like Seattle, I think the praise speaks for itself.

Unless you live in New York, Portland, Seattle, or certain California cities, you may not be able to get to a Stumptown yet. While the chain may expand, for now, you may have to settle on trying it out whenever you end up in one of these cities.
