I would not have to put in my ear plugs because the kid behind me is afraid to fly and proves this by crying and screaming all through the flight. I could have an inflight meal rather than bring a fast food meal along with me.

If I had the money to charter my own aircraft I could travel with whom I choose or simply travel alone. Where would I fly if I could right now? I might pack a small bag and go to New York for a Broadway play. And then dine afterwards in a fine New York steakhouse. And then be back home before noon tomorrow. Or perhaps I would fly across the Atlantic to Paris for a quaint sidewalk cafe lunch. Take a look at the Eiffel tower and fly back.

Unemployment is in the news everyday as the numbers grow and grow. And yet I know there are still people who right now are getting aboard a charter jet for a trip to fun and adventure. Today when there is too much month left and not enough monthly income for many, the idea of a charter jet is a fantasy yes. But many are living that reality.

Some with a lot of money and a lot of time on their hands call the limo service and decide on their way to the airport where to fly to. Can you imagine having a friend who calls you and says he is sending the limo over to meet him at the airport. And he says you decide where we will fly to. To be so bored with that much money would be kind of fun, no?

Charter jets are not for only the rich and bored of course. Many companies charter jets for their executives who have to be in various parts of the world to make company affecting decisions. This is a good use of company money. Executives should not be worn out from a commercial flight when making important decisions for the company.

Many wealthy people can own their own jet. But the maintenance of your own plane would not make financial sense unless you are flying on a regular basis. It would make more sense to hire a reliable charter jet company that has access to many aircraft and can be ready to fly you anywhere at a moments notice. That is what I would do if I had the money.

I saw a TV program on the reduced service offered by the airline industry given the cost of fuel and the growing competition in the commercial flying business. So many airlines lose money every year. Gone are the free meals, the free baggage service, and the friendly flight attendant is only seen on an old TV show. How much better to be rich and use charter jets for all your flight travel plans.
